Why is it likely to mess the whole "repository" (I assume you meant vault)?
The file documents its own format:
#IMAGE CREATED REFERECE EXPIRES
2008-03-13-16-58 2008-03-13 16:58:42 default +15 days == 2008-03-28 16:58:40
2008-03-13-22-00 2008-03-13 22:04:13 2008-03-13-16-58 +15 days
== 2008-03-28 22:00:00
Image 2008-03-13-22-00 was created based on 2008-03-13-16-58 and will
expire in 15 days on 2008-03-28 22:00:00.
Not much of a mistery there if you ask me.
