First, please don't hijack the thread!  If you're not following up to  
a existing topic, please compose a new email instead of replying to an  
existing email.

This is based on standard rsync include/exclude rules, which are  
covered heavily in the `EXCLUDE PATTERNS' section of the rsync man  
page.  There is a good discussion of them in an April thread [1] on  
this mailing list, including a handy script [2] that will build them  
for you (the script is located at the bottom of the page as a  
`scrubbed' attachment).
