You need to make them complete the init successfully. Increase the
timeout until it is large enough. Previous notes on the list advised
about files not transferred, I think?

dirvish will automatically cope with vaults that had errors on a
previous run. But there must be at least one successful previous run!
After that, you don't need to do anything.
